Posted in People, Sports on 01/16/2008 02:13 pm by alisonA new carpet ball table made it’s debut in the CBC Youth Room on Sunday night and quickly became the center of attention. I took a lot of pictures but only Jenna, Skylar, and Andy were lucky enough to make this post. Hopefully I’ll get some more good ones in the weeks to come (it makes for good depth pictures).

More Gymnastics
Posted in Sports, Uncategorized on 01/09/2008 09:48 pm by alisonSitting at home has been getting pretty boring and poses few opportunities for me to take pictures, so I headed up to the gym once again to hang out at practice. They’re probably getting pretty sick of me being there all the time, but I’m having a lot of fun. And I’m actually going to be rather dissapointed to not get to see them finish out the season, oh well.
The first picture is of Chantel practicing her straddle back release move. The second is of my best friend Krista zoning out… or concentrating, you decide. And the last is of Dani chalking up her grips. Well that’s all I’ve got for now, Peace Out.
Precision and Grace

Posted in Sports on 12/30/2007 05:29 am by alisonEvery year my high school gymnastics team has a sleepover at the gym. There’s really only one way to describe it… complete chaos. The coaches attempts to get the girls to stop screaming and doing flips and ‘just go to bed already’ are fully ignored until around 3 or 4 am when the all sugar wears off. I used to be a part of this when I was on the team and missed it so much that I stopped by for a bit this year. I didn’t take many pictures because of all the fun I was having (and the muscles I was pulling, man I’m getting old), but here are a few.![]()
